Terms & Conditions

1. Introduction

These Terms & Conditions govern your use of Taqdeer, our website, and our private introductions service. By registering, referring someone, accepting an introduction, making payment, or using our service, you agree to these terms.

2. About Taqdeer

Taqdeer is a private Muslim introductions service for marriage-minded individuals. We are not a dating app, public profile platform, marriage bureau, legal adviser, religious authority, counselling provider, investigation service, or guarantee of marriage. Our role is to understand individuals and facilitate considered introductions where there may be genuine potential.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use Taqdeer. By registering or using our service, you confirm that all information you provide is true, accurate, current, and not misleading.

4. Safety & Suitability Declaration

By using Taqdeer, you confirm that you are not currently subject to any unspent criminal conviction, injunction, restraining order, non-molestation order, safeguarding concern, police bail condition, court order, or legal restriction that may make it inappropriate, unsafe, or unlawful for you to be introduced through our service. You agree to inform Taqdeer promptly if this changes.

5. Registration

You may register yourself or be referred by someone else. Registration does not guarantee acceptance into the Taqdeer private network, nor does it guarantee that an introduction will be made. We reserve the right to decline, pause, suspend, or remove any registration at our discretion.

6. Referrals

If you refer someone else, you must do so respectfully and with appropriate permission or intention to inform them. We may contact the referred person directly. The referred person is under no obligation to proceed.

7. Private Database

Once reviewed, your details may be held in our private database for the purpose of considering suitable introductions. Profiles are not publicly displayed, searchable, or available for casual browsing.

8. Consultant-Led Process

A Taqdeer consultant may contact you to understand your intentions, values, family outlook, and what you are seeking in a life partner. Consultant support is intended to guide the introduction process, but it does not constitute legal, religious, therapeutic, financial, safeguarding, or professional advice.

9. Introductions

Introductions are manually curated and shared only where we believe there may be genuine potential. You acknowledge that compatibility is subjective and that Taqdeer cannot guarantee attraction, chemistry, progression, engagement, Nikah, or marriage.

11. Introduction Fee

There is no fee simply to register or be considered within the Taqdeer private network. A fee of £50 per person is payable only when a curated introduction is mutually accepted and ready to proceed.

12. Nikah Completion Fee

If an introduction made through Taqdeer leads to Nikah, a completion fee of £1,000 from each party is payable to Taqdeer. This fee is separate from the £50 introduction fee and reflects the successful outcome of a private, manually curated introduction process.

13. When The Nikah Completion Fee Becomes Payable

The Nikah completion fee becomes payable once both parties have agreed to proceed to Nikah, engagement, formal family agreement, or any equivalent commitment that directly results from an introduction made by Taqdeer.

14. Refunds & Cancellations

Once an accepted introduction has been arranged or shared, the £50 introduction fee is generally non-refundable, unless required by law or agreed by Taqdeer at our discretion. If you are a UK consumer buying online, statutory cancellation rights may apply, including a 14-day cancellation period for certain distance contracts. The Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 set out cancellation rules for distance contracts, including services.

15. Immediate Service Request

If you ask Taqdeer to begin providing the introduction service before the 14-day cancellation period ends, you acknowledge that refund rights may be reduced once the service has been performed, to the extent permitted by law. UK government guidance says that where a consumer wants services to start within the 14-day cancellation period, the business should obtain explicit consent on a durable medium and explain that the consumer may need to pay for services already provided.

16. Behaviour & Conduct

You agree to behave respectfully, honestly, and lawfully when using Taqdeer. You must not harass, pressure, mislead, abuse, threaten, discriminate against, exploit, or behave inappropriately towards any person introduced through Taqdeer.

17. Accuracy Of Information

You are responsible for ensuring that the information you provide is accurate and up to date. You must not provide false information about your identity, age, marital status, background, intentions, occupation, family circumstances, legal status, or any other material matter.

18. Safety & Due Diligence

Taqdeer aims to provide a careful and discreet introduction process, but we do not guarantee the character, background, conduct, intentions, legal status, faith practice, family circumstances, or suitability of any individual. You are responsible for making your own enquiries, involving family or trusted advisers where appropriate, and taking sensible precautions before meeting or progressing any introduction.

19. Meetings

Any meeting between introduced individuals is arranged at their own discretion and responsibility. We encourage meetings to take place respectfully, safely, and in a manner appropriate to your values and circumstances.

20. No Guarantee Of Outcome

Taqdeer does not guarantee that you will receive an introduction, that an introduction will progress, or that any introduction will lead to engagement, Nikah, or marriage.

21. Confidentiality

You agree to treat introductions, profiles, photographs, conversations, and personal information shared through Taqdeer as confidential. You must not share another person's information outside the introduction process without their consent.

22. Misuse Of The Service

We may suspend or remove you from Taqdeer if we believe you have breached these terms, acted dishonestly, behaved inappropriately, misused personal information, failed to pay a fee due, or acted in a way that may harm another person, Taqdeer, or Taqdeer's reputation.

23. Intellectual Property

All website content, branding, text, design, logos, and materials belong to Taqdeer or our licensors. You must not copy, reproduce, or use them without our written permission.

24. Website Availability

We aim to keep the website and service available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may update, suspend, or withdraw parts of the website or service at any time.

25. Limitation Of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Taqdeer is not liable for any indirect loss, emotional distress, disappointment, loss of opportunity, failed introduction, failed relationship, personal disagreement, or conduct of any individual introduced through the service. Nothing in these terms excludes liability where it would be unlawful to do so.

26. Privacy

Our use of your personal information is explained in our Privacy Policy. By using Taqdeer, you acknowledge that your personal information will be handled in accordance with that policy.

27. Changes To These Terms

We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. The latest version will be available on our website. Continued use of Taqdeer after changes are made means you accept the updated terms.

28. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the courts of England and Wales, unless consumer law requires otherwise.
